SUNDAY MORNING DISCUSSION GROUP – The Sunday Morning Discussion Group will re-convene in the library at 9 a.m. starting Sunday, September 17th. We are going to kick off with a close look at the Holy Spirit. In these chaotic times, where do we find God? How does God lead us and help us with what, at times, may feel like overwhelming struggles? To assist in our discussion of the Holy Spirit, we will be studying Max Lucado’s Help is Here. This will be a DVD – based study and a study guide will be available. Hope to see you Sunday mornings at 9.

Well, the Wednesday Night Zoom Adult Study Group will be looking at the issues of getting older backed up by Biblical passages to support us all in this process. We will be studying Growing Older and Wiser and discussing the following topics: 1. Wise Up based on James 1:1-8,12, 2. Wisdom Hunt based on Colossioans2:1-10, 3. Listening to the Young based on Job 32, 4. When the Kids are Grownups Too based on Exodus 18, 5. Wiser by Faith based on Genesis 24:1-9, 5. They Don’t Always Listen based on 1 Kings 12;1-20, 7. A Reason to Be Here based on Philippians 1:18-26, 8. Dealing with Fear based on Psalm 71:1-13, and 9. Life Long Trust based on Psalm 71:14-24.
We will start meeting at 7:00 PM via zoom on September 13, 2023.The sessions usually last an hour to an hour and a half. Books are in the mailboxes in the office and once we use up 8 books we need to order more. Karen Howenstine will also be leading the group but will be out of town until 9/12/2023 and may not have internet or phone service in the state parks she is visiting. Hope some new folks can join us.
COFFEE HOUR – Have you been missing after church fellowship as much as I have? Beginning on September 24th, we will be holding coffee hour once again. This will be a time right after the service for us to just spend time together and build community. This will be great for spending time with old friends and getting to know new neighbors. Hope to see you there!

All donations will be raised funds for our Preschool. Have stuff but can’t make it on Saturday October 7th, let us know and we can help make arrangements.
