These FREE concerts are open to the public and begin at 6:00 p.m. – so bring your blanket or lawnchair chair, invite your friends and family and join us for a night of fellowship, beautiful music and ice cream! Free will donations will be accepted for each group’s individual charity.
CAR WASH – The Girl Scout troop that meets at the church will be holding a car wash on Sunday, July 3rd after the service in the parking lot. The car wash proceeds will be used to fund the girls’ silver award community service projects, two of which will be at the church – planting pollinator plants in the stormwater basin at the back of the property and an indoor project, possibly in the preschool.

MISSION EVENT: Bethesda Mobile Mission Van serving the homeless in Harrisburg is set up for Saturday evening July 16th (6:30 to 9:30ish). We will be handing out an assortment of collected items. Your donations are also appreciated (there is a collection box in the coat rack area off the narthex. Adult clothing, new under garments, socks batteries (AAA and AA), deodorants are key items for the homeless.) We are looking for volunteers interested in participating if you would like to participate please contact Randy Winter. (email@example.com) We show our love of Christ by assisting those in need.
PER CAPITA – Per Capita is an annual expense to St. James. Therefore, each member is asked to pay their per capita each year. If you have not done so already, please consider paying this. It is $29.00 per confirmed member for 2022 and is used to fund the operations and mission of the Presbytery, Synod and General Assembly. Please use the blue envelopes in your offering envelopes which is for the per capita. If you do not have the blue envelope simply write per capita in the memo section of your check. Your payment is greatly appreciated.
NURSERY VOLUNTEERS NEEDED – We have begun seeking out volunteers to spend time with our children at the church during church service. At this point, that means spending time with Rocco and Vito! PRAYER GATHERINGS – There will be prayer gatherings on Mondays and Wednesdays at 12:30 p.m. in Pastor Anthony’s office. Mondays we are praying over local communities and global concerns and on Wednesdays we are praying over St. James and personal concerns.
HELP NEEDED – Are you tech savvy and looking for a way to put that talent to good use? We are looking for subs for our technology group to do the live feed on Fb and to help with the power point during the service. THE STORY – There are two study groups currently running for The Story. Our normal Sunday morning 9am in person at the church led by Steve Grubb, and a Wednesday evening 7pm on Zoom led by Karen Howenstine and Barbara Hughes. Books can be picked up in the narthex. Come join us!
